CIC
- Vizille Capital Innovation
is the venture capital subsidiary of the CIC - Banque de Vizille Group.
Its objective is to invest in promising technology companies in their
early stages of development with a high growth potential in dynamic
sectors such as information technologies, telecommunications,
electronics, life sciences, new materials, and clean technologies. CIC
– Vizille Capital Innovation’s policy is aimed at providing assistance
over time (5-7 years) to high-tech start-ups, which will ultimately
lead them on the right track to succeed. This involvement is achieved
by working closely with the company through advices and networking, but
without interfering in the day-to-day management of the company.
Investment levels are suited to each case – usually between €0.5 and €3
million - and injected gradually in several phases, as development
needs rise. CIC - Vizille Capital Innovation usually invests with other
financial partners, often as lead or co-lead investor.

CDC
Entreprises
– a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts – manages private
equity funds of funds and co-investment funds with the mission of
promoting the French private equity industry, mainly for its own
account. It supports venture and growth capital, from seed to late
stage financing, on a local and national level, in order to facilitate
high-tech, fast-growing or traditional SMEs up to € 15 million per
company. CDC Entreprises now implements and manages a new investment
program called "France Investissement" (2006-2012), which aims to
promote tomorrow’s French champions at an international level. A total
of € 2 billion have been allocated to be invested by CDC Entreprises in
this program.

Entreprises
is a small-cap investor related to Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations.
Since its launch in 1984, the company has invested in over 500 French
companies in all sectors with success such as Nocibé and Maisons du
Monde in the retail industry, Floreane Medical Implants in medical
technologies and B&B in the hotel industry. The company
consists of
a dozen professionals in Paris, Lyon and Nantes.
